An order that requires an employer to withhold support from a noncustodial parent’s wages and transfer that withholding to the appropriate agency (the Centralized Collection Unit, the State Disbursement Unit, or tribal child support agency). Sometimes referred to as a wage withholding, garnishment, or income assignment.
